Sounds like Franklin is trying to keep up with New Berlin..and is getting its a$$ sued, just like New Berlin should. Both have the blatantly unconstitutional Original Domicile clause. Heck, were it that easy to keep “those people” out, the Florida (among others) legislature would have done it long ago!

Judge in the case granted a preliminary injunction today!
If ever there was an aspect of these asinine laws that scream out cruel and unusual – it is this. Separating a free person from their family and friends because of an arbitrary line on a tape measure, should be proof enough to any sentient human that whoever is actually pushing for these laws is severely compromised, scared and just following orders to save their careers.
This story is probably being put out there preemptively, because they already plan on changing things in Milwaukee . I think residency restrictions across the country are going to be a thing of the past as you can see the dominos lining up. This guy will prevail. And the spouses in these situations should sue for loss of consortium when these laws finally do get overturned.
this is a very sad story but it is more than just sad it also shows how cold and dirty not just the law makers are but how phony so many of these people that insist they need these laws to “feel safe” but I have to say this , I think we have been pushed so many times by so many regulations/laws that it looks clear that the powers that be are pushing us tell one or more nut up and retaliate in a really negative manner so they can say look! see these people are out of control ! and they all need to be locked up , and never even talk about hard we have been pushed , so I am in hopes that everyone stays on track and positive that we will over come these unjust laws , in a positive manner , you can bet that if all people were treated like the RC the out come would be madness on an epic level , I commend all RC’s and there familys for being civilized in the handling of what is clearly an attack on human rights , we are taking the fight to them in a nonviolent hopeful way wishing no further harm on anyone , not asking for anything extra , just our right to move on in our lifes in our pursuit of happiness , I wish nothing but positivity for this family as well as all that have been affected
He has served his court ordered sentence therefore he is a totally 100% free citizen of the United States of America with no further “Rules” to abide by. Only the laws of the land exactly like every other American Citizen who has or has not been previously convicted of a time. He can travel amougst these great states freely & without obligation, Free to work for whomever would like to advance their company via his talents, Free to own a home Anywhere in the US of A. What aren’t I understanding??
